To The Editor:

I write in support of Neil Chaudhary, candidate for Newtown Police Commission. The Police Commission serves as the traffic authority for the town. As a traffic safety scientist, Neil could not be better suited to tackle the complexities surrounding the impact of the ever-increasing volume of vehicles on our roadways.

Additionally, Neil has a proven track record in the role, having previously served on the Commission where he garnered the respect of his colleagues. Neil’s volunteer contributions to our town over the years have been numerous, but I particularly respected his work as chairperson of the Legislative Council Education Subcommittee where he thoughtfully advocated for the needs of our students while being mindful of the financial impact on taxpayers.

Neil’s commitment to Newtown, unmatched experience in the traffic safety industry, and collaborative approach to problem-solving would make him an invaluable asset to the Police Commission.

This letter reflects my personal opinions, and I am not speaking on behalf of the Police Commission of which I am a member.
