To The Editor:

I believe that Bruce Walczak, will make an excellent First Selectmen of Newtown.

For over 30 years, I’ve seen first hand how much Bruce loves and appreciates our town.

We’ve been neighbors on Glover Avenue for 30 years. He and his wife Holly have been wonderful neighbors. Often I see him on his daily walks with his dogs, past our house, down the street and around the Borough. He truly appreciates all that Newtown offers. He is thankful for and shows great gratitude for living in Newtown. Bruce and Holly are proud Newtown citizens. They make a difference, making it nicer in Newtown!

They’ve invested in the town, purchasing other properties in the Borough and making great improvements in them. That tells me that they believe in Newtown. Bruce is a very bright and fiscally responsible person. He has a solid corporate background and transitioned to his own very successful business. Bruce will work hard to make Newtown better for everyone. He has a vision for Newtown.

He will always think of Newtown as Red & White & Blue. A united town where we take care of our youth, their schools, our safety, our police, fire, ambulance and all municipal departments. He’ll improve our roads and adherence to the speeds traveled on our local roads. He will balance budgets, save money and keep our recreational spaces, parks and trails nice, nicer and growing.

To my conservative fellow Newtown citizens, I believe that Bruce will not bring National Politics into our Beautiful Newtown community politics.

I’m voting for the Man, not the party. I’m voting for Bruce. I’m with Bruce! Win Bruce Win!
