I am writing to offer my enthusiastic endorsement of Dr Neil Chaudhary for the Newtown Police Commission.

Neil is a proven public servant with over two decades of dedicated service to the Newtown community. His extensive background in traffic safety research, covering areas such as distracted driving, occupant protection, and crash analysis makes him uniquely qualified to contribute meaningfully to the Commission’s work. As the CEO of Preusser Research Group, Neil has worked with law enforcement agencies across the country, bringing data-driven insights to improve roadway safety and reduce injuries and fatalities.

Beyond his professional expertise, Neil has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to Newtown through his volunteer efforts with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Rotary Club, and his prior service on the Legislative Council. His approach to governance is pragmatic, respectful, and non-partisan, which are qualities that are increasingly rare and deeply needed in today’s political climate.

Neil’s prior tenure on the Police Commission was marked by thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and a genuine concern for both public safety and the wellbeing of Newtown’s residents. His decision-making is informed by evidence, guided by empathy, and focused on solutions rather than ideology.

I believe Neil Chaudhary embodies the values of integrity, service, and community engagement. His return to the Police Commission would be a tremendous asset to Newtown, and I urge voters to support his candidacy.
