To The Editor:

I’m proud to write in support of my longtime friend Steve Stolfi, as he runs for a seat on the Newtown Legislative Council.

I’ve known Steve for over a decade, through St Rose, baseball, and the shared experience of raising our families in this great community. From the start, Steve stood out as someone with integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to Newtown.

Whether playing on the baseball field or volunteering behind the scenes, Steve leads by example. He’s the kind of person who listens first, acts with purpose, and brings people together — qualities that are essential in public service.

We have had many conversations over the years about how to make Newtown even better for our children and neighbors. I’ve seen firsthand his thoughtful, balanced approach to tough issues and his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get involved — not for recognition, but because he truly cares.

I strongly encourage residents to support Steve Stolfi for Legislative Council. He has my full trust — and more importantly, he has the heart, experience, and vision to serve Newtown well.
