Bruce Walczak isn’t just my husband — he’s someone who has spent the last 34 years living in and loving Newtown. He’s walked these streets with me and our dogs, rain or shine, and he’s been actively engaged in making this town a better place for everyone. His candidacy for First Selectman is rooted in deep care for the people of Newtown and a belief that leadership should be transparent, responsive, and inclusive.

Bruce brings a unique blend of business acumen and public service experience. He currently serves on the Economic Development Commission, and previously ran for the Board of Education as an independent. He’s not afraid to work across party lines to get things done.

What sets Bruce apart is his temperament and dedication. He listens. He responds. He leads with integrity. He’s pledged to bring bold leadership that reflects the values and needs of our community — not just today, but for the future.
