To The Editor:

As I seek re-election as your Town Clerk, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and support you’ve given me throughout my years of service. It has truly been an honor to serve our community; a community I care deeply about and have been proud to call home for so many years.

The role of Town Clerk is more than paperwork and procedures; it’s about service, integrity, and ensuring that local government works efficiently for everyone. Whether assisting with land records, vital statistics, licensing, or elections, I’ve always approached this position with professionalism, transparency, and a sincere desire to help each resident who walks through our doors.

As a lifelong Newtown resident and longtime community volunteer, I’ve been fortunate to serve in many ways, supporting local boards, civic organizations, and countless town events that make Newtown such a special place to live. These experiences have only strengthened my commitment to public service and to the people who make this town what it is.

I’m proud of the improvements we’ve made in accessibility and technology, making our office more efficient and user-friendly. I take great pride in maintaining accurate public records and ensuring every election runs smoothly and fairly, a responsibility I take very seriously.

If re-elected, I will continue to uphold the values that have guided me throughout my career: honesty, dedication, and a commitment to serving Newtown with care.
