To The Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks for your incredible support and for making your voices heard in the interest for change.

First and foremost, a very special thank you goes to my family for their unwavering support. To my children, Mitchell and Victoria, my partner in everything, Kevin, and of course, Monica and Katie, who dedicated countless hours to the campaign trail, Annie, who made time on her trip from Florida to come out and support me — your efforts ensured that as many voices as possible were heard. There are so many others who gave their time to help me in this effort to begin a new path.

My first experience as a candidate has been truly unforgettable. It was a privilege to meet so many wonderful people, whether knocking on doors, attending events, or making calls to encourage everyone to vote.

I am blessed to have connected and reconnected with so many of you. Some of you I met for the first time, and others I came to know better, and I am certainly better for those experiences. The overwhelming support, along with the inspiring leadership and direction from Alex, Brandon, and Jill, made this a truly remarkable journey.

We all have so much to be proud of and grateful for.

There is much to be done, so let’s get to work.
