To The Editor:

On this day of gratitude, we give thanks that we’re lucky enough to live in this wonderful community.

We give thanks to all of the candidates in the November election who were willing to step up to serve Newtown.

We give thanks to all the residents of Newtown who stepped up to vote in the election.

And we give thanks to all outgoing elected officials who served us.

You have all helped keep Newtown safe & beautiful, and we are so grateful.

We send best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving to all the people of Newtown.
