Donna Michele Walker, nee Goulart, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Donna was born in Norwalk on January 15, 1970, to Bruce Goulart and Michele Masterson. Donna spent most of her childhood in Newtown, graduating from Newtown High School in 1988.

A longtime Bethel resident, Donna enjoyed pickleball, softball, and above all spending time with family and friends. She was known to be kind, compassionate, generous, and fun. Whether you knew her for a day or a lifetime, she had the ability to make you feel welcomed and cared about.

More than anything, she loved her family. She cherished being a mother to her three sons and a grandmother to her grandson.

She is survived by her three sons, Steven Walker (Cassi), Teal Walker, and Brian Walker (Brittnee); grandson Cameron Walker; father Bruce Goulart; step-mother Jan Brown; siblings Lisa Goulart, Sara Surmolian (Matt), and Eric Brown (Adrienne); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, February 27, from 4 to 7 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm Saturday, February 28, at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown.
