To The Editor:

My name is Olivia McAndrew and I am a 21-year-old college student who has grown up in Newtown and lived here my entire life.

I’ve never been invested in local politics until Brandon, and now I am working on his campaign. I have been inspired by him as a person and what he has sought out to do for Newtown.

I’ve had the privilege of spending time around Brandon and can truthfully say how down-to-earth and how great of a person he is. I am used to being disregarded in local politics due to my status as a youth voter. Many don’t want to hear my voice or listen to what I have to say.

Brandon has never made me feel that way. One of Brandon‘s strengths is the ability to connect to many people from different backgrounds and many different demographics of voters.

I’ve seen the way he’s able to make relationships with people, and he is exactly what Newtown needs.
