‘Gardening With Heart,’ And Maureen Lutz, Tuesday Afternoon With Garden Club
On Tuesday, May 26, The Garden Club of Newtown will welcome Maureen Hogan Lutz for its final meeting-program of the season.
Lutz will present a video program based on her book Gardening with Heart. She and the club will be in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.
The public is invited, free of charge.
In her book, Lutz shares her beliefs that gardening has a role in calming and enriching a gardener’s life. She aims to demystify the intimidation fear for the beginner.
Her program will include a video with highlights of her gardening journey.
Copies of Gardening with Heart will be available for purchase and Lutz will autograph copies for those who would like to have that done.
The program is free, and open to the public. It will follow the club's annual meeting and election of officers, which will begin at noon.
