Michelle Embree Ku, democratic candidate for 106th district state representative, will host a kid-friendly, free science experiment trail on Saturday, June 27. The trail opens at 10 am at The Pleasance, 1 Main Street.

Embree Ku believes in the power of science and research in searching for answers to problems. She believes curiosity aided by education can drive problem solving.

“Both great science and great legislation start with a great question,” Embree Ku said. “Kids can have fun engaging with science experiments and track their own research into how things work. We are excited to have the next Community in Action event focus on science for children.”

While the kids are learning about science, parents can ask the scientist Embree Ku about political science topics such as local government, state issues, and how she plans to best represent Newtown in Hartford.
