Community Invited To Public Reading Of Declaration Of Independence

Residents and visitors are invited to begin their Independence Day with a community reading of the Declaration of Independence at 9 am Saturday, July 4, on the steps of Edmond Town Hall.
The reading will be led by Legislative Council member Ben Ruben and is open to all members of the public. The event offers an opportunity to gather as a community and reflect on the historic document that helped shape the nation.
Attendees of all ages are welcome to join family, friends, and neighbors for this simple and meaningful start to the holiday before the day’s festivities begin.
