Claris Named 2026 Inc. Best Workplace, Certified Through Quantum Workplace Employee Survey
Claris has been named a 2026 Inc. Magazine Best Workplace. This award honors organizations that consistently build strong, supportive environments where employees and teams thrive.
The award caps a milestone year for Claris: 2026 marks the company's 35th anniversary. Founded by President & CEO Philip Clark, the firm has grown into a full-service design/build practice with offices in Connecticut, North Carolina, and Utah, serving clients across more than ten states in commercial construction sectors including automotive, manufacturing, medical, retail, office, and athletic and wellness. The company houses architects, engineers, and builders under one roof, offering clients a single point of accountability from concept through completion.
Claris attributes much of that growth to its culture. Claris is quickly approaching 70 employees, many of whom describe the workplace as collaborative, dedicated, rewarding, supportive, and team driven.
"What makes me most proud about Claris is our culture — it's unique," said Clark. "We're in a stressful industry, but we laugh a lot during the day. We always find a way to bring humor into the work."
The recognition arrives as Claris prepares to relocate its headquarters to a newly renovated, larger space at 63 South Main Street — part of the company's broader investment in its people and its next chapter of growth. This new space was both designed and built by Claris’ architectural, engineering, and construction teams.
