Newtown Congregational Church, at 14 West Street, will host Labor Day Breakfast & Parking on Monday, September 7, from 8 to 9:30 am.

Reverend Matt Crebbin noted the breakfast is always a great place to meet with friends old and new, greet some local dignitaries, and enjoy a great breakfast before heading to Main Street for one of Connecticut’s only Labor Day Parades.

Cost is $7 per person or $24 maximum for a family, and will include regular and gluten-free pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, and beverage.

For those who would like to park but not stay for breakfast, that fee is $5 per vehicle. Parking begins at 7:30 am and will be hosted by Scout Troop 270 volunteers.

Payment for either option is by cash or check. Newtown Congregational Church is a two-block walk to Main Street. The Labor Day Parade steps off at 10.
