To The Editor:

I am pleased to support Michelle Embree Ku for State Representative for the 106th District. I have known Michelle for the past ten years and have been consistently impressed by her tireless commitment to serving our community.

Whether serving as Chair of the Board of Education, a member of the Board of Selectmen, or on the Legislative Council, Michelle has demonstrated a deep commitment to representing her constituents. She listens carefully, cares deeply about the people she serves, and approaches every issue with thoughtfulness and integrity.

Michelle’s commitment to science, her concern about climate change, and her focus on the future our children will inherit are especially important to me. She understands that good public policy requires both careful consideration of evidence and a willingness to listen to different perspectives. Most importantly she has the drive to affect that policy.

After sixteen years of dedicated service to our community, Michelle is ready to bring that experience to Hartford. As our State Representative, she will bring intelligence, energy, commitment, and fresh perspectives to the issues that matter most to us.

I strongly encourage voters in the 106th District to support Michelle Embree Ku. We would be fortunate to have her representing us in Hartford.
