Discusses Opinion On Democratic Issues
To The Editor:
As the election is fast approaching I sit with a cup of coffee (at home) and think about what kind of world do I live in, what kind of world for my children and for my grandchildren. I look and listen to both parties’ sides of promises and wants and wishes.
On the Dem/progressive side I see they are pro: Abortion for any reasons up until birth, (I disagree); biological males in women’s/children’s bathrooms and lockers, I disagree; biological males in women’s/girls sports, again I disagree; I do not want any biological male in with my granddaughters; minors getting gender reassignment treatments without parents knowledge, minors having abortions without parental notification and consent, what ! no parental notification or involvement? I think not. No support for school vouchers, which if enacted prevents parental choice in their child(ren)’s education.
They are our children the state did not birth them. Allowing open borders with no vetting of those entering (a country without borders is no longer a country), here I look at the rapes, murders, and assaults that would not have happened if vetting occurred. We have an immigration law — my forefathers followed it through the ports of Boston, Castle Garden, Ellis Island. It works! No support for police and placing additional restraints on arrests and prosecutions, limiting incarcerations/jail for those who commit heinous crimes? Who do we call when we need help?
I see my rights and those of others being erased and eradicated. I do not want biological males sharing any female bathroom/lockeroom/shower for myself, my children and grandchildren.
I want parents to have choices for schools and input to their child(ren)’s education as well as physical needs and decisions. Parents — speak up for your children! In opposition to the Democratic agenda I want the United States to have a strong military and defense system in place.
In Connecticut, there has been a democratic majority in Congress for far too long to which we can all attest… look at your tax bills, look at the federal no tax on tips but here in Ct the Governor said oh not in Ct we will keep the tax! Gas taxes are one of the highest in our Nation, taxes on cars — when you buy one and every year you own one! Has your electricity gone down. The Connecticut Democrats have seen to it that they can place a tax on everything — still buying your rotisserie chicken and paying the tax?
Its time to choose what kind of world you want for your children and grandchildren? Are we any better off with the status quo in Connecticut? Reelecting the same democratic agenda will change nothing and gives us the same results.
How has the current administration made your life (and that of your family and/or business) better?
I’ll wait.
