Laroche Visits Blackbeard Pub For 'Two Guys' Episode Recording; State Senator Episodes Drop Today
Amybeth Laroche, the Republican candidate for State Senate-28th District, visited The Blackbeard Pub on October 1.
The location doubles as the recording studio for "Two Guys & A Pint," the podcast co-hosted by Brian Hartgraves and Gavin Arneth that focuses on local issues and topics.
Laroche was the third of three local candidates to sit down for the podcast this election season.
Rob Blanchard, the Democratic candidate for State Senate-28th District, and Michelle Embree Ku, the Democratic candidate for State Representative-106th District, each visited The Blackbeard in September.
All candidates were questioned on what they see as Newtown’s priorities in Hartford; education, children, and families; affordability and development; and working across the aisle.
Embree Ku’s Two Guys & A Pint podcast episode dropped October 5. Mitch Bolinsky, the incumbent Republican State Rep for the 106th District, declined the invitation to be featured on the podcast.
The episodes featuring Blanchard and Laroche will drop October 12, according to Arneth and Hartgraves.
The podcast can be found on platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and iHeart.
