To The Editor:

Congratulations to Rob Blanchard on his important endorsements for State Senate by the Police Officers Of Connecticut Association and the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of Connecticut.

Rob believes the law should apply equally to everyone. Pardons of felonious masked ICE agents, financial fraudsters, drug dealers and pedophiles are inexcusable! Rob will work with the CT government to protect our residents from such authoritarianism.

Rob has concrete policy ideas for supporting our First Responders and ensuring they get the resources and help they need, so they can be there when we need them.

Rob has lived twice as long in the Senate 28th District as his opponent, and his wife’s family has lived in the district for a decade. He knows our District. He also knows our state and local governments, and has the extensive experience to support it: direct employment with the governor, his staff and elected officials, and locally on the Fairfield Representative Town Committee (Finance and Zoning emphasis) before moving to Newtown. Rob is ready on day one, as opposed to his opponent who has only 9 months local learning experience on the local Board of Finance (takes about 1-1/2 to 2 years to learn).
