To The Editor:

It is unfortunate that a few people in our town label our local Republican candidates as being “Radical”. Being a Republican does not make someone a radical. Mitch, Marty and Amybeth are our neighbors, parents, and community volunteers who simply have a different vision for how the government should operate. Supporting lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, smaller government, public safety, and parental involvement in education are mainstream policy positions, not radical ones. In a healthy democracy, people can disagree respectfully while working together to serve their communities and that is exactly what Mitch, Marty and Amybeth do.
