Sex Charges
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, a 15-year-old boy turned himself over to police on the morning of February 27 and was charged with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury or impairing the morals of a minor.
Police said the investigation which led to the arrest stemmed from a November 2006 complaint against the boy. Police did not provide details on the allegations or identify the accused youth.
State law shields the identities of people under age 18 who are charged with crimes.
Police released the boy on a written promise to appear on March 12 in Danbury Juvenile Court.
