BROOKFIELD CENTER â Arnold Daley, an accomplished actor from Brookfield, will perform as the infamous Connecticut born American Revolutionary War General turned traitor Benedict Arnold in the one act play Arnold on Sunday, May 3, at Brookfield Museum & Historical Society.
Dressed in period military attire, Mr Daley delivers a remarkably believable portrayal of both the life and career of this most intriguing figure. The drama, written by Roxbury playwright Bob Brown, explores the events and circumstances that led up to his deserting the American cause and switching to the British side midway through the War.
The performance is a must see for students of our nationâs founding.
The program will begin at 2 pm at the museum, Route 25 at 133. Admission is free and the public is invited enjoy light refreshments following the performance.
