Programs At The Yoga Center

WOODBURY — On May 7 at Woodbury Yoga Center, Janaki Pierson will give a talk entitled “Freedom From Anger, High Blood Pressure and Stress: Daily Meditation.”

Janaki Pierson is co-founder and executive director of the yoga center, where she teaches yoga and meditation.

The program begins at 6:45 pm and is free to the public. After the talk and discussion, meditation instructions will be given and a silent group meditation will be held. A social gathering with tea will follow.

Everyone is invited to attend the Sunday Evening Meditation Programs at Woodbury Yoga Center, 122 West Side Road. The free programs provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the center, which offers year-round classes in yoga and meditation by experienced instructors from a range of backgrounds.

On May 14, Brett Duback will give a talk entitled “Awakening Kundalini Yoga through Self Effort as Taught by Yogi Bhajan.” Mr Duback (Arjan Singh) is a Kundalini yoga teacher certified by Ravi Singh and the Kundalini Research Institute.
