Robert F. Natale

Robert F. Natale, 56, husband of Jean (Yaglenski) Natale, of 61 Padanaram Road

in Danbury, died at the Danbury Hospital on June 7 following a brief illness.

He was the brother of Henry Natale of Newtown.

He was born in Danbury on May 25, 1943, son of the late Francis and R.

Margaret (Barbarotto) Natale. A lifelong Danbury resident, he was a graduate

of Henry Abbott Technical School. He had worked for many years at the former

Mosler Research Company of Danbury and later at General DataComm of Danbury.

For the past three years he had been employed as a senior manufacturing

engineer at Tornik of East Hartford. Mr Natale had also worked part time for

many years as a route delivery person for The News-Times .

In addition to his wife and brother, he is survived by a daughter, Deborah J.

Natale of Danbury; three sons, Robert F. Natale, Jr, Ryan A. Natale and Randy

C. Natale, all of Danbury; five other brothers, Salvatore Natale, Ralph

Natale, Michael Natale and Ronald Natale, all of Danbury, and Sylvester Natale

of New Fairfield; three sisters, Lucy Hrabcsak of Danbury, Marie Landolfi of

Rhode Island and Rita Casey of New Fairfield; his mother-in-law, Lydia

Yaglenski of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 11 at 11 am at

Sacred Heart Church in Danbury. Burial will take place in St Peter Cemetery.

Calling hours were scheduled for June 10 from 6 to 9 pm at the Green Funeral

Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury .

Ernest Joel Badillo

Ernest Joel Badillo, 23, of Echo Valley Road in Newtown met with an untimely

accident and was tragically killed on June 7 in New York City.

He was born in Danbury on May 19, 1976, beloved son of Jill (Edelstein) Previs

of Sandy Hook and Ernest C. Badillo of Newtown, stepson of Christine Badillo

and James Previs and adored brother of Jennifer Badillo and Todd Badillo.

He is also survived by his loving grandparents, Terri Edelstein of Southbury,

Margaret Badillo of Brookfield and Philip Edelstein of Danbury.

Mr Badillo was a 1994 graduate of Newtown High School and graduated from the

University of South Carolina in 1998. He was a proud member of Alpha Tau Omega

fraternity. He was employed at Liubicich Commodities, at the World Trade

Center in New York City.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11 at a time to be announced, at

the Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, Newtown. Burial will be in

St Rose Cemetery in Sandy Hook.

Calling hours were scheduled on June 10 from 4 to 8 pm at the Honan Funeral

Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ernest J. Badillo

Scholarship Fund, c/o Savings Bank of Danbury, 220 Main Street, Danbury, CT

06810.

Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.

Jamie A. Miller

The death of Jamie A. Miller, 32, of 46 Butterfield Road, Newtown, occurred at

her home on June 4. She was the wife of Steven M. Miller.

Born in Suffern, N.Y., March 26, 1967, she was the daughter of Michael and

Joan W. (Rabatin) Palkovic. She was a 1985 high school graduate, and she

graduated from the Westchester Business Institute in 1987 with an associates

degree in marketing. She made her home in White Plains, N.Y., prior to moving

to Newtown in 1992.

Mrs Miller had been employed as an administrative assistant in the legal

department of the St Paul Insurance Company in the White Plains office for the

past six months. Prior, she had been employed by the Duracell Corporation from

1992 to 1995. She was a member of St Rose Church, Newtown.

Besides her husband and her parents of West Haverstraw, N.Y., she is survived

by two brothers, Michael Palkovic and Kevin Palkovic, both of West Haverstraw;

three sisters, Michelle Goodman of Glastonbury, Mary Ellen Murphy of Highland

Falls, N.Y., and Theresa Sullivan of Fort Montgomery. N.Y.; and a niece, three

nephews and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Rose Church, Church Hill Road,

Newtown, on June 7. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.

Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, was in charge of

arrangements.

Gail A. Gracy

Gail A. (SantaBarbara) Gracy, 47, of 217 George's Hill Road, Southbury, died

June 7 at St Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, surrounded by her family. She was

the wife of Richard Gracy.

She was the mother of Mark Gracy of Newtown.

Mrs Gracy was born June 12, 1951 in Waterbury, daughter of Teresa (Errico)

SantaBarbara of Naugatuck and the late Nicholas SantaBarbara.

She was the president of a home building company that was owned by her

husband.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of its Extend-A-Hand

committee. She was a resident of Southbury for 20 years.

Besides her mother, husband, and son, she leaves one daughter, Maureen

Ottinger of Naugatuck; one stepson, Scott Gracy of Waterbury; two

stepdaughters, Terry Cooper and Kelli Gracy, both of Southbury; three sisters,

Linda Kiernan of Naugatuck, Paula Pascal of Campbellsburg, Ky., and Karen

(SantaBarbara) Vogel of Portland; four grandchildren; and several nieces and

nephews.

A funeral Mass was held June 10 at Sacred Heart Church, Main Street South,

Southbury. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Arrangements were by Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.

Floyd Robert Polan

Floyd Robert Polan, 61, of Fairfield, formerly a resident of Trumbull for more

than 20 years, died June 7 in his home.

He was the father of Cindy (Polan) Rossi of Newtown.

Mr Polan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Irving and Shirley

(Schortz) Polan. He was a member of the Stratford Racquetball Club.

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by another daughter, Dawn (Polan)

Marriner of Albion, Maine; two sons, Troy Polan of Stamford and Louis Polan of

Milford; his brothers, Marvin Polan of Melville, N.Y., Harvey Polan of

Scottsdale, Ariz., and Neal Polan of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and his beloved,

Arlene Bunt of Fairfield.

Services took place June 9 from the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88

Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at Loyalty Cemetery on

Burroughs Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer

Center of Norwalk Hospital.

Dennis H. Keefe, Jr

Dennis Harold Keefe, Jr., 62, of 119 Arden Road, Pelzer, S.C., formerly of

Sandy Hook, died June 1 at St Francis Hospital.

Born in Norwalk on December 24, 1936, he was formerly employed with F & R

Construction Company, and a member of the National Guard.

Survivors are his widow, Mary (Verbanic) Keefe of Pelzer, S.C.; daughters,

Deborah Booth or Portland, Ore., and Doreen LaChance and Dawn Riccardi, both

of Pelzer, S.C.; sons, Dennis H. Keefe III of Ohio, Donald Keefe of

Williamston, S.C.; Daniel Keefe of Easley, S.C., and David Keefe of Belton,

S.C.; mother, Alice (Platt) Keefe of Clearwater, Fla.; sisters, Judy Greek of

Georgia and Barbara McNichols of Clearwater, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and one

great-grandchild. He was the son of the late Dennis Harold Keefe, Sr. He was

preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie-Jo Keefe.
