Alliance Française To Host Bastille Day Celebration

The Alliance Française of Northwestern Connecticut (AFNWCT) will celebrate Bastille Day on Saturday, July 12, from 5 to 9 pm at a private home in Sandy Hook. 

The event is open to the public, and guests will enjoy food, games, swimming, and performances of French music and songs.

Admission is and $20 for adults ($15 for Alliance members and teens), and free for ages 10 and under.  Reservations are required by July 5 and can be made by checks paid to AFWNCT, Inc. and sent to Alliance Française of Northwestern Connecticut, PO Box 31 Woodbury CT 06798-0031. The location of the celebration will be given with paid reservations.

Guests should bring folding chairs, sunscreen and bug spray.

French will be spoken but is not necessary. Rain date is Sunday, July 13.

The Alliance Française is an international, not-for profit organization dedicated to promoting the language and culture of France and other French-speaking countries and French-American friendships.
