Debate Over

Drug-Eluting Stents On Tap June 3

BRIDGEPORT — “Angioplasty and the Debate Over Drug-Eluting Stents” is the program of the next St Vincent’s Healthy Hearts Club meeting, Wednesday, June 3, at 7 pm ,in the Seton Room on Level C of St Vincent’s Medical Center. The presentation is free and open to the general public.

Featured speaker is cardiologist Jared Selter, MD, who will discuss the angioplasty procedure and the advantages and disadvantages  of drug-eluting stents versus  bare metal stents.

Dr Selter is board certified and specializes in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He practices medicine at Cardiology Associates of Fairfield County with offices in Trumbull and Fairfield.

A question and answer period will follow his presentation to the Healthy Hearts Club. Light refreshments will also be served.

Parking is free with ticket validation in the new Campus Parking Garage immediately in front of St Vincent’s. No registration is necessary.
