Michael A. Capone

Michael A. Capone, 37, of 26 Geraldine Drive, Naugatuck, died March 5 at St Mary Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Karen (Faller) Capone, a former resident of Newtown.

Mr Capone was born November 14, 1963, in Stamford, son of John “Jack” A. Capone, Jr, of Thomaston, and Marilyn (Ferber) Capone of Southbury. He was an independent motor vehicle physical damage appraiser and owner of Capone Appraisal Service. He was a graduate of Danbury High School and the Technical Career Institute of New Haven. He was also a certified ASE master technician. He was a communicant of St Vincent Ferrer Church.

Besides his adoring wife and parents, he is survived by his 5-year-old son, Daniel A. Capone, of Naugatuck; a brother, Jeffrey Capone of Norwalk; a sister, Deborah Quinn of Brookfield; his maternal grandparents, William and Odette Ferber of Greenwich; seven nieces and nephews; his father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and aunts and uncles; and countless other loving family members and friends.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:15 am from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, to St Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck for a Mass at 10 am. Burial will be in St James Cemetery.

Calling hours were scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday, March 8, from 5 to 8 pm.
