With its annual Dinner & Country Dance and its regular monthly meeting, the Newtown Bridle Lands Association is looking forward to a busy March.
The NBLA will host its fifth annual Dinner & Country Dance on Saturday, March 3, at the Edmond Town Hall. Music will be by The Wild Notes, with contras, couples dances, and Bill Fischer as the caller on the square dances.
Doors will open at 6 pm with dinner to follow at 7 pm and dancing from 8 to 10:30 pm.
The dinner is BYOB. Cost is $25 per person for dinner and dancing or $10 per person for dancing only. No experience is necessary as all dances will be taught. For further information, contact Dee Davis at 426-7032 or send check, payable to NBLA, to P.O. Box 3083, Newtown, 06470 (write Country Dance on the memo line).
All proceeds will benefit the NBLA equine scholarship fund. If you canât make the dance, the NBLA would gladly accept a donation.
