Local Real Estate Market Focus Of Program

Coldwell Banker real estate specialists will present “Navigating Today’s Real Estate Market” in the meeting room of the C.H. Booth Library, Tuesday evening, May 5, from 7 to 8:15, featuring speakers with expertise in the various aspects of buying and selling a home. Information and resources concerning the local housing market will also be provided.

Newtown Coldwell Banker manager Karen Alpi and agent Lincoln Sander will speak on current market conditions, followed by a presentation from Chris Fairchild, Kathy Suhoza, and Jan Hlywa on staging the home for sale. John Koch, Joan Salbu, and Karen Michel will demystify the home inspection, and Lee Boyle and Marie Fodor will discuss the benefits of a home warranty.

“Today’s Mortgage Market” will be the focus of a talk by Kim Mraz, the senior loan officer of NE Moves. Michael Magyar of MCM Appraisals will present “The Bank’s Evaluation of Appraisals,” followed by a question and answer period.

Refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.
