Annette F. Cooper, 83, of Walnut Tree Village, Newtown, died February 19, in Danbury Hospital. Mrs Cooper was the beloved wife of Carl C. Cooper. She was born in New York City on March 2, 1926, a daughter of Sylvia A. (Aloisi) and Christopher Prestopino. 

Mrs Cooper was a longtime resident of Pelham Bay, N.Y., and before retirement was a banking executive for HSBC Bank.

She was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church, and enjoyed attending the Newtown Senior Center.

In addition to her husband, Mrs Cooper is survived by a sister, Carolyn Lopreato of Northwest, Va.; and by a niece and a nephew

Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Sunday, February 28, from 2 to 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Monday, March 1, at noon. Interment in St Rose Cemetery will be held in the spring.
