Uncovering The Secret: What Men Know About Women

(with book cover)

BY SHANNON HICKS

Newtown resident Adam Watt has taken a brave step in the world of male-female

relationships.

Mr Watt has just published his first book, called Everything A Man Knows About

A Woman!

Without being too wordy, Mr Watt gets right to the point. His book is a small

soft-cover volume, less than 60 pages of information, that tells readers of

both sexes the truth.

Mr Watt's biggest advice: Actions speak louder than words. Men do not always

have to talk. It is sometimes better to listen to your woman than try to

vocalize everything if you are not sure what you really want to say.

"I visualize a husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend, sitting by a

fireplace, a nice glass of wine or champagne close by, with the fireworks

going off in each other's minds," Mr Watt explained recently. "At that moment

I feel too many words would ruin the moment.

"The point of the book," Mr Watt continued, "is a simple message to men: We're

good at work 60, 80 hours a week, and we're good at vision and determinations,

but when it comes to satisfying the needs of the opposite sex, we find it a

real challenge. We need to take more time to find out what our spouse needs

from us."

Mr Watt, who has been living in Newtown the past 20 of his 36 years, admits

his collection of information is based on his own personal life experiences.

Mr Watt sat down and reflected on his own failed relationships and even failed

marriages before he could understand what he needed to offer women in his life

to make them happier.

There is a second point to Mr Watt's book, which is apparent from the first

time any reader picks up the paperback and starts flipping through its pages.

Mr Watt says men need to have a sense of humor, to not take everything about a

relationship quite so seriously.

"Oh that was absolutely another intent," said the owner of Adam C. Watt

Construction & Paving Co. "To have humor, and not be so serious about

everything, that is definitely another point I am trying to make."
