Colombe ‘Kay’ Sedor

Columbe “Kay” Sedor, 89, wife of the late William Sedor of Signal Post Road, Newtown, died in the Bethel Health Care where she had been a patient the past few years.

Mrs Sedor was born in Magog, Canada September 16, 1915, daughter of the late George and Albina (Levesque) Loubier.

She was a retired psychiatric aide at Fairfield Hills Hospital. She also worked several years at the Lutheran Home in Southbury.

Mrs Sedor is survived by three sons and their wives, Donald and Betty Murray of Chester, Vt., Paul and Jane Sedor of Brookfield, and Ralph and Lois Sedor of Sharon; two stepsons and their wives, William and Maureen Sedor of Waterbury, and Stephen and Lorie Sedor of Braintree, Vt.

She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Lorraine Bolmer.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kim, Stacy, Donald, Yvonne, Lucian, Bettyann, Paul, and Chris; as well as by several great-grandchildren.

Grandma’s buns will still be baked, her gardens will still be planted, and her knitting needles will still create masterpieces in loving traditions she has given her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her family wishes to thank the Bethel Health Care for the loving care the employees gave to Mrs Sedor.

Funeral services were held June 25 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in Land End Cemetery, Hawleyville.
