A fundraising dinner to help raise funds for the bone marrow transplant of Bill Marsilio will be held Sunday, May 7, from 1 to 6 pm, at the Fireside Inn on South Main Street. Youth Lacrosse Coaches Sought

The Newtown Youth Lacrosse Association is seeking coaches for its boysâ and girlsâ teams. Experience in the game is helpful, but not required. Openings are in the girlsâ 3rd through 6th grade level and the boysâ 3rd through 8th grade level. Call Ken Law at 270-3905 or Tom DâAgostino at 426-4133 for further information.
Soccer Registration

The Newtown_Soccer Club will be holding travel and in-house registrations for the fall 2000 and spring 2001 seasons on Wednesday, May 3, from 7 to 9 pm, and Saturday, May 6, from 9 am to 12 noon, at the Newtown Middle School cafeteria (if possible, all travel players attend May 3 registration). In-house players can mail in registrations to NSC, P.O. Box 193, Newtown, 06470, by June 30. Forms available at Park and Rec and Booth Library.
Stamp Art Exhibit

The Connecticut Junior Duck Stamp Art Exhibit 2000, a Conservation Through the Arts program which is part of the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Program and Scholarship Competition, is being shown at the Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area in Burlington through May 13 (8:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday).
