The summer swim season for the Newtown Torpedoes age group team begins on June 28. Sign up today!
The Slamma Jamma Basketball camp, featuring former University of Connecticut star Maria Conlon, will be going on June 28 through July 2, July 26 through July 30, and August 9 through August 13, at the Newtown Middle School. A full-day sesson is $155 and a half-day session is $95. Bob Ruderman will direct the camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 14.
The Girlsâ Softball Camp for players ages 11 to 14 will run from July 6-9. Hone batting and fielding skills with Newtown High School head coach Jay Edwards and select players. Cost is $110 per player.
A fanastic three weeks is planned for Middle School Camp, including trips to Smiles Entertainment, a Bridgeport Bluefish game, Big Daddyâs Racing dragster, Lake Compounce, as well as activities such as Game Show Mania and extreme paintball. Fridays will be movie days. Come join the fun! For all three weeks, fee is $475.
