Sharon Rae Haithwaite and Harold Fowler Morrison, Jr, were united in marriage on January 15 at the Newtown Meeting House, with the Rev Steven P. Gordon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of George and Shirley Haithwaite of Danbury.
The groom is the son of Marilyn and Eugene Rosen of Sandy Hook.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The matron of honor was Karen Doherty of New Fairfield.
The bridesmaids were Cheryl Ostermayer of Danbury; Christina Mark of Boston, Mass.; Laurie Lynch of Danbury; Laura Irish of Carmel, N.Y.; and Veronica Molnar of Ridgefield.
The best men were Pete Coviello of Woodbury and Terrance Dalton of Monroe.
The ushers were John Smolinski of Newtown; John Treleavin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Brian Chesler of Newtown; and the brideâs brother, Ray Haithwaite of Danbury.
The ring bearer was Jeffrey Fleisch of Newtown. The flower girl was Haley Coviello of Woodbury.
The bride graduated from Danbury High School and Northeastern University of Boston with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at New Milford Hospital.
The groom graduated from Newtown High School and Henry Abbott Regional Vocational-Technical School with a certificate in practical nursing. He is a licensed practical nurse at the Center for Pediatric Medicine in Danbury.
The reception was held at Villa Bianca in Seymour.
Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, Mr and Mrs Morrison are living in Danbury.
