VFW Picnic, Saturday

The Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 308 extends an invitation to residents for a family picnic on Saturday, July 25.

The picnic will run from 11 am to 4 pm at the Post, 18 Tinkerfield Road. Admission is $15 per person, or $25 for a family with kids ages 12 and under.

There will be plenty of picnic favorites, from hamburgers and hot dogs, and liver with bacon and onions to raw clams, chicken, deep fried turkey, sausage and peppers, and more. Admission also includes soda and beer.

There will be a bounce house for the kids and a DJ will provide music to keep the picnic going, rain or shine.
