Rachel Stern, daughter of Michael and Karen Stern of Sawmill Ridge Road, has been selected as a Junior Fellow of the American Academy of Political and Social Science. Rachel, a senior economics major at Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, spent the fall of 2005 studying abroad through the International Honors Program in Argentina, India, and China, and was a member of the debate team.

Chevon Miles has attained Honors at Notre Dame High School, Fairfield, for the second marking period.

Elizabeth Leigh Arnold, daughter of Drew and Anita Arnold, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Bryant University, Smithfield, R.I. Elizabeth completed an internship at Disney in Providence, R.I., and is majoring in communications.
