Were Her Passion

Marlene Underhill, 71, of Danbury, predeceased by husband Robert Q. Underhill, Sr, died Thursday, April 9, at her home. Among survivors is her daughter Holly Troccolla of Newtown.

 Ms Underhill was born in Danbury, daughter of George and Hazel (Sherman) Anderson. She attended Danbury Schools and worked in sales for the Sears Department Store for many years. She was a member of the Danbury and Bethel Seniors and had served as a volunteer at the Danbury Hospital gift shop.

Her greatest passions were her friends, family and artwork. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her sons, a brother, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Clark Anderson, and sister, Shirley Dangard. Funeral services were held April 16; cremation will take place at the direction of the family. Green Funeral Home of Danbury is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Avenue, PO Box 1004, Meriden CT 06050.
