Ronald J.      Caron, Jr

Ronald J. Caron, Jr, 41, of Scudder Road, Newtown, died unexpectedly April 8 at his home.

He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., December 30, 1961, a son of Ronald J. and Florence A. (Clark) Caron of Newtown.

Ronald had been a resident of Newtown since 1964. He attended Newtown schools and was a graduate of Newtown High School. Following high school, Ronald attended Unity College in Maine where he majored in environmental sciences. He graduated from Craftsbury College in Vermont in 1982. A self-employed house painter for many years, he was a proprietor of Residential Painting Service of Newtown. Ronald was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is survived by a sister, Melinda A. DeCusati and her husband, Robert, of Charlotte, N.C., and a brother, Steven J. Caron and his wife, Kelly, of Houston, Tex.; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 14, at 9:30 am, from Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at 10 am in St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday, April 13, from 4 to 7 pm.
