Bantam Girls’ Lacrosse Results

Highlights from youth lacrosse action this past week:

Meatballs vs Team One: For the Meatballs, Alex Futterman played a great game on the field and in goal. Rachael Tomasino, Claire Dubois, and Carolina Stubbs played great all-round games. For Team One, Hayley Lambert had two goals, Dylan Zahansky scored, and Caroline Tuos had an assist. The team also got great goaltending from Kiera Sugh.

FTB vs  Team One: For FTB, Lizzi Hodge had a great day in  goal. Jenna Carvalho and Abi Pearson played well on attack.

Underdogs vs All-Stars: For the Underdogs, Katherine Trammel and Hannah Groonell scored the first goals of their careers. Haley Harkins spearheaded a strong Underdog defense from her midfield position, and Allison Kelleher contributed on both ends of the field with her aggressive play. For the All-Stars, despite the fact that the team did not have a practice before the first game, everyone played well. Newcomers Makayla Manoni and Kayley Meisenheimer did an outstanding job on both offense and defense, and Meisenheimer had a goal. Without hesitation, Kayla Keddy suited up as goalie and stopped several shots from getting by her.
