Janice Ann McClenathan Palladino

A Kind And Loving Soul

Janice Ann McClenathan Palladino, 46, of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly in her home February 11. She was born in Bronxville, N.Y., September 18, 1964, to the late Robert and Marjorie McClenathan.

She leaves her husband William Palladino, and two daughters, Michelle and Sarah Palladino, all of whom were her greatest accomplishments, along with her wonderful home. Her sister Sally McClenathan of Sandy Hook, sister Marilyn Winchester of Granby, brother Robert McClenathan and his wife, Julie, of Monroe, and sister Carol McClenathan of Towson, Md., survive Ms Palladino, as do several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Staples High School in 1983 and was employed in Oxford for Eemax Inc.

She enjoyed watching the beautiful birds that were attracted by her many bird feeders, and sitting by campfires. She was a very loving person with a kind soul, and was always willing to help others. She will be deeply missed, and forever remembered by all who knew her. All of her many friends and family know how lucky they were to have known such a wonderful woman and she will remain in their hearts forever.

Service will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield CT 06824 or ctaudubon.org/visit/fairfield.htm.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, is in charge of arrangements.
