Flight Manual

In science we are working on space flight manuals that require a lot of research. As part of our unit in Rocketry, we are learning what it would take to be the first fifth graders to live in space. We are taking notes from space videos such as NASA Space Suit and Space Camp. We are searching the Internet and reading books for the rest of our information.

We are researching to find information about Hygiene, Nutrition, Mission Training, Clothing, Sleeping, Entertainment, and Communication. We have been gathering the information and writing down notes on our space organizers. Now we are putting together all this information in the form of a manual we could refer to if we lived in space.
