‘Unity In Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity in Diversity, a cable television program that provides an education in learning about one’s neighbors, especially through a clearer understanding of their religious heritage, spiritual values, and everyday life, airs each Monday at noon and Wednesday at 5:30 pm on Charter Communications channel 21.

The program on April 27 and 29 will be a rebroadcast with the Reverend Terry Pfeiffer, the former pastor of Newtown United Methodist Church.

Upcoming programs and their special guests include: May 4 and 6, the Reverend Ann Beams, pastor, Valley Presbyterian Church, Brookfield; May 11 and 13, Dr Z. Michael Taweh, director of Kevin’s Community Center, Newtown; May 18 and 20, the Reverend David Barthiune, pastor, Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bethel; May 25 and 27, Father Larry Carew, associate pastor, Christ the King Church in Trumbull; and June 1 and 3, the Reverend Robert Tarullo, pastor, Community Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Newtown.

The program producer and host is the Reverend Leo McIlrath, coordinator of Corpus Christi: An Ecumenical Catholic Faith Community and a resident of Sandy Hook.
