Know The Truth

To the Editor,

Do you not finally see, you sleepwalkers in the middle class, the kind of people we have in power today?

Are you really OK with helmeted, armed soldiers breaking down the door in the dead of the night to snatch a terrified child? Elian Gonzalez was in the temporary custody of his Miami family, the only family who seemed to care whether or not this little one would have a future in freedom.

I thought we were a nation of laws.

The President of the United States now has his helpless Attorney General circumventing our legal system. Do you really think this poor old lady really made this decision? She’s a victim, just like every other woman he has violated and left to bear the terrible consequences for his cowardly decisions.

How can Castro, the anti-American murderer, possibly let this child keep his brain together when he gets back to Cuba and tells his friends what a swell place America is for kids. Yeah, I know the “unbiased” national press tells us the Miami family “paraded” him around.

All we really saw was a laughing boy playing with his puppy and his toys in his cousin’s backyard. The long lenses of the press poked into his environment.

You folks just don’t know what “parading” is until you see how the Communists would exploit the recapture of this child – all for the glory of Castro’s triumph over a free society.

Get real friends! We are being had by a left-tilting press!
