Slo-Pitch - History Of 100 Church Hill

In 1981 a team of mostly high school ballplayers, Oldies But Goodies, captured

the "C" Division championship.

The team, which included Bryan Kachur, Chris Kachur, Tee O'Grady, Kevin

Booker, Brad Manning, Glenn Rooney, Al Triacca, Mike Macri, among others, them

moved up to the "B" Division, took on the name Spirit Shop, and won the

championship of that league.

The following year, under the name Warehouse Liquor, the team then moved into

the "A" Division and made the playoffs in its first year. During the next 12

years the The team would become Pizza Palace and 100 Church Hill, would finish

the regular season in first place four times, make it to the playoffs several

times, and reach the championship four times, but never win the crown.

The team disbanded after the 1995 season.
