Leadership Conference

Four students from Middle Gate School will be attending a special Student Leadership Conference at Naugatuck Valley Community-Technical College in Waterbury on March 22, 2000.

These students are the 2000-2001 advisors to the Respect, Responsibility and Diversity school committee. Sponsored by the Connecticut Association of Schools, the conference is designed to provide students with an opportunity to acquire a specific set of leadership skills needed to become effective leaders in their respective schools.

Each student attends a series of three seminars on the topics of communication, productive thinking, and decision making. These students have been identified as demonstrating strong potential for leadership and for school success.
