ON THE ROAD/SHANNON HICKS

MOPPIN' SAUCE will hit the road again this week, with a return to Fat Daddy's

in Watertown on Saturday, July 17.

Also heard from Ives Concert Park in Danbury this week. The park is getting

ready for its first concerts of the season, which finally gets underway this

weekend. Plenty of tickets are still on sale for all of the shows over on the

westside campus of Western CT State University. The schedule this year ranges

from openers THE BEACH BOYS on July 18 (this Sunday, 2 pm), to disco queen

DONNA SUMMER on July 24, to jazz-blues-rocker BRUCE HORNSBY on August 21. For

ticket specifics and orders, call the Ives Park's box office at 837-9226,

visit TicketMaster locations in Filene's stores or contact TicketMaster over

the phone, the closest (local call) being the Danbury office at 744-8100.

Until next week, I'll be seeing you... on the road.
