*One quick addition to the concert calendar this week — two shows, actually, but it’s one band we’re talking about — as the buzz starts to pick up concerning New Year’s Eve plans.

SOL DOG has its New Year’s Eve show planned for Classic Rock Brew Pub in Danbury. The cover is just $5 and for that you get into the club, Jell-O shots and other specials all night, a champagne toast at midnight, a breakfast buffet, and of course a live show by Rev, Ron, Mark and Curt.

Next month the band returns to Café 127 in Shelton. That show is set for January 12.
