Montessori Educators Thanked

To the Editor,

We would like to take this opportunity to commend and thank Myriam Woods, the board members, and especially the teachers at the Newtown Montessori School (recently renamed the Fraser-Woods School) for the many hours of hard work they have been putting in preparing the new school building for the students. The school looks absolutely wonderful, especially the classrooms.

Although there was a misunderstanding with the town offices that delayed the opening of the school, and some parents were inconvenienced, the staff and families really pulled together assisting each other with coordinating field trips, rides, and child care.

Now that all is behind us and the school has opened, we can look forward to many prosperous and rewarding years of education for our children at the school.

Again, to the entire staff, thank you for all you have done. It is truly appreciated and supported.
