Computer Classes Announced By Bethel Library

BETHEL — Bethel Library has three computer classes scheduled during May. All classes are limited in space, so reservations are required. Call 794-8756 for details.

“Introduction to the Internet,” a hands-on class, will be offered on Saturday, May 12, from 9:30 to 10:15 am. Those attending should know how to use a computer.

On Monday, May 21, from 2 to 3 pm, a hands-on class called “It’s Not Just for Books” will be taught for anyone wanting to learn how to use the library catalog of books, magazines, encyclopedia, and other databases.

“Introduction to Word for Windows” will be taught on Thursday, May 24, from 2 to 3:30 pm. Students will learn how to write a letter or a resume in Word, cut, paste, and set up a page for printing. For this class, the student should have at least rudimentary typing skills and be able to use the mouse.
